 SWEET VINTAGE CHALKWARE LADY ~ SOLD Here is a lovely vintage figurine for your collection! This figurine is quite old and is made out of heavy chalkware. She is wearing a southern style dress that is painted aqua and the wonderful thing about this piece is that it has applied lace in tiers on the skirt, on the sleeves and on her hat. She has a sweetly painted face with a pink bow tied at her neck. Another charming feature is the basket of pink roses by her side. The roses are the sweetest thing ~ they appear to be made out of tiny shells. This figurine most likely dates to around the 1930's or 1940's and is in great condition. It has a teeny chip on the edge of the bonnet and a small hairline around the neck, but it is still in very sound condition. The lady stands 7" tall and is about 4" wide.
