 PRETTY VINTAGE THATCHED COTTAGE OIL PAINTING ~ SOLD Here is a lovely vintage oil painting with a romantic theme. This pretty painting features a very serene scene that depicts a romantic little thatched cottage with two chimneys and wisteria at the front door. Blue sky with fluffy white clouds, pink blossoming trees, pink and blue flowering bushes and towering green trees make this painting a must for the romantic at heart. The painting is executed in oil, at least I'm pretty sure it is as I have a hard time telling oil and acrylic apart sometimes, and it is very well painted. The canvas is painted on the sides as well and it is stretched over a wooden frame. It is in excellent condition and is signed by the painter. It measures 11' x 14" so it would make a wonderful candidate for a frame if you so desire. Note that the colors are a little bit darker than they appear in the photographs. So pretty!
