 SHABBY ANTIQUE LAVENDER ORCHIDS PORCELAIN TRAY ~ SOLD Here is a lovely antique tray for your collection. This is a thick and heavy porcelain tray with deep edges and a lovely light violet background. The center has the most gorgeous bouquet of lavender and amber orchids with foliage and little sprays of flowers. This tray is not for the perfectionist as it has some wear and chips around the edges, a blemish in the corner on the flat part of the tray and a small spider crack on the back which doesn't affect its stability. There was writing on the back when I purchased it that said the tray was in someone's family since 1889. I washed the tray...and it washed off! The tray is quite heavy and measures 12.5" x 8.5". It has several markings on the back that indicate that it is of German origin. Note that the iris' are showing up slightly brighter in the pictures than they are. If you love "shabby", you'll love this! Shipping is estimated and is based on shipping to the east coast so it may look high to your area.
