 GORGEOUS ANTIQUE PANSY WATERCOLOR PAINTING ~ $125.00 *On Sale ~ $95.00* This absolutely stunning antique watercolor painting has been one of my cherished possessions for severals years now, but I have decided to part with it as I am redoing the room it was displayed in. My loss is your gain on this incredible piece! Expertly painted in watercolors, this painting features a stunning bouquet of antique pansies that is very similar to the works of the famous Victorian artists such as Paul DeLongpre. Pale yellow, white and burgandy pansies are featured in the bouquet as well as a few pansies that have not yet opened. Abundant green foliage completes the picture. This antique watercolor is framed under glass in an old wooden gold frame and a gold mat. The actual painting has a few spots on it from age and there is some wear on the paper. All in all, it is in very good condition considering the painting is at least 100 years old or more. I would not be surprised if it dated from the 1870's or so. The painting measures 15.5" x 10.5". It has a wire on the back for hanging and a picture of the back is also shown. As you can see by this picture, this is an extremely old piece.
