Here is an absolutely charming pink vintage dress that you will love!

This dress is all hand made and it's so pretty! It dates to around the 1940's
or 1950's and really looks like a bridesmaid dress to me. The dress has an
inset piece of sheer netting type of fabric at the top followed by a deeply
rounded collar that goes up into small capped sleeves. It has a pretty, gathered
waist with a "v" in the center. The back of the dress is so stunning as it features
23 covered buttons with loops. Note that the bottom covered button is missing.
The dress also has small built in shoulder pads under the sleeves. There is a
little fabric strip with snaps under each sleeve and I'm not sure what they are
there for...they must have snapped together with "something" at one point.

This dress is in fabulous condition. It does not have any tears or stains. I did
notice that it has some minor yellowing underneath each arm hole. I am not sure
what this fabric is as I have been debating back and forth between taffeta and linen
so perhaps it is some sort of blend of these two. The dress measures approximately
50" long from the top of the shoulder to the hemline. It is about 28-30" across the
bust and has an appromiate waist measurement of 26".

I used this as a display piece on one of my mannequins for years. This is a really
adorable vintage dress that I'm sure you will love! It's so pretty in pink!
