 FABULOUS WHITE COTTAGE SHELF W/APPLIQUES ~ Was $68.00 On Sale ~ $48.00 If you are looking for a pretty, new shelf to spice up your cottage decor, then you will love this absolutely charming piece in your home. This is a very LARGE and quite heavy shelf that is great as a focal point in your room. I used it under a large wall picture and it looked beautiful. The shelf is made out of solid wood and was painted white and distressed several years ago. Two lovely high quality rose bow appliques were added to each side and there are five pegs in the center to hang your sweet dried roses or other charming collectibles. The shelf also has a scalloped shape on the bottom and the actual shelf part is very wide so it can hold a wide array of pretty collectibles. The shelf is in great condition with a few little blemishes in the wood. It has holes in the back for hanging, but I always found them to be quite a nuisance. You may want to add those metal tab style hangers from each side. I think they would work better. The shelf is large measuring 36" long, 10" high and 7" deep.
